Along with upgraded wiring, we've also included the option of choosing a 40A MPPT charge controller instead of our 20A to better suit your future expansion needs. Geared towards providing you with the most efficient system possible, the Renogy Starter Kit MPPT could be the perfect fit for you.

Can I use the inverter with a 24V system?
No, this inverter model is designed to work only with a 12V battery system.
Can I use this inverter to charge my batteries?
No, the Renogy 12VDC to 120VAC inverter is not designed for charging batteries. If you want an inverter that can also charge batteries, you should consider the Renogy Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger, available in 12V 2000W and 12V 3000W options.
What size inverter should I buy?
When choosing the right inverter size, consider the following factors:
- Sizing the right power output: Determine the total wattage of the devices you want to power simultaneously. Choose an inverter with a wattage rating higher than the total wattage of your devices. Renogy offers 2000W and 3000W inverters for various power needs.

Do I need Modified Sine Wave or Pure Sine Wave?
The choice between Modified Sine Wave and Pure Sine Wave inverters depends on your specific needs:

How do I hook up the Inverter? What size cable should I use, and is it included?
When connecting the inverter to the battery, always use the thickest wire available and keep the cable length as short as possible. A pair of 1/0AWG 3ft cables with battery terminals is included in the package for your convenience.
