How Can I Observe the Power Generation of Components if the Controller Has No Display Screen?
The controller has Bluetooth embedded, allowing you to download the Renogy DC Home APP to pair the controller with a smartphone for observing solar power generation. Additionally, you can use a wired communication method to connect the controller to the Renogy Super Panel to monitor solar power generation.
Can I Charge My 24V Lithium Bank with This Controller?
This controller is only compatible with 12V battery systems, including 12V Sealed Lead Acid, AGM, Flooded or wet cell, Lithium, or Gel batteries.
What Is the Maximum Solar I Can Connect to This Controller?
The maximum solar voltage at the input is 100V, and the maximum solar power capacity is up to 800W. It is advisable to combine similar panels and not exceed the voltage input limit.
Is There Anything to Be Aware of When Installing Wiring for This Controller?
- Ensure the controller is installed vertically with 150mm of clearance to allow for proper heat dissipation.
- Connect the controller to the battery first and solar panels second.
What Is the User Battery Type, and How Do I Use It?
The User battery type is designed for advanced DIY users, allowing them to set their own battery charge parameters. When the battery knob selects the USER mode, the controller enters a custom mode where users can use the Renogy DC Home APP to program their desired voltages.
